When you are challenged or the stakes are high, it’s easy to slip into familiar responses. You might push harder, take control or rush to a solution. You might hold back, avoid disagreement or soften what needs to be said.

A different way of leading begins with presence: noticing what is happening within you, paying attention to others and choosing how to meet the situation.

You can be curious and firm. Listen openly and challenge directly. Make a clear decision or give others room to take ownership, guided by your purpose and what the moment asks of you.

Brendan Geary

Working with me means having someone alongside you who takes your leadership seriously. I bring close attention, honest challenge and a willingness to say what I see.

I began my career as a psychologist and have spent more than three decades working in leadership, consulting and organizational change. I've held senior roles in major organizations, served on the executive leadership team of a global business and worked with leaders across industries and cultures.

That experience means I understand leadership from the inside. I know what it takes to make difficult decisions, navigate competing expectations and bring people with you through change.

You can expect support and a willingness to challenge you. I'll ask direct questions, name what I notice and invite you to examine choices you may have stopped questioning.
